If you don’t make the necessary changes, you become obsolete and uncompetitive, and all employee jobs are at risk. It’s called running the business. It’s unfortunate for those impacted, but absolutely necessary.
The number of employees they will have on payroll will decrease massively. They are closing esurance & encompass brands. Also they are eliminating many positions at Allstate again to cut operation cost & increase share holder profit! Many loyal & great people will be losing there jobs. It’s very sad.

Between Allstate America and Allstate India I would imagine the number is pretty large. Probably a lot less if you don't count the Indian operations.
