Forbes? That's like MSNBC saying positive things about the Obama's... weird. The UP is horrible in too many areas to fully grasp. It's the outcome of a publicly traded corporation running a railroad. I suppose to sum most of it up its the goal to make as much money possible and that's totally great yay!! The mind numbing part is they do everything opposite to maximize profit all while cutting to the bone in efforts to make up for their utter ignorance and raw stupidity. If you worked for them as I still do you'd SWEAR your on some sort of modern day "Truman Show" it's not real it's a show testing humans capabilities of mental torture and fatigue. Place a car mechanic of 30 years in charge of Versace's purse lineup for fall 2020 and that's kinda scratching the surface of pure outta place ignorant leadership values.
Take a look at the source. Most people who would be polled/interviewed by Forbes would probably think that everything with UP was just fine. Forbes target audience is not disgruntled union employees.

Serious question. How can you be listed as #375 on the Worlds best employers but #409 on America’s best employers list? Whoever compiled this data for Forbes must’ve gotten one of them there fancy Phoenix online degrees.
