I hope the rumors I’ve herd today aren’t true. Well if they do have layoffs I hope the do them after Christmas.

It's called an order book.. To which I'm privy too..
Colin, I read this exchange with mild amusement, you do not have to be far up the tree, one manager tells one of his directs and pow it is all through the company. As far as 2020 being a very strong and dynamic year for NOV in the UK .... can I have some of what you are smoking please ? On what basis do you spout such nonsense ?
Mmmm how far up the pole do you have to be before you get shown a document to which you claim to have seen...perhaps it is you who are indeed a manager with a vested interest in job losses and closure but I put it to you in this context.. If I was a manager then why would it be of interest to me for very place I manage at to close?...no my facts are very much on point .... 2020 will be a very strong and dynamic year for NOV in the UK..perhaps it is you that the door is closing on..
To Colin from accounts,
Senior management and HR arrived in Stonehouse this morning to announce that the facility will be shutting down in the new year with the loss of all manufacturing personnel.
A copy and paste from another post but verified to me by staff who work there so please check your facts before issuing such statement of denial, but of course it's possible that you are a manager within NOV and have a vested interest in issuing false news.
Rumour is YOU like to stir the p–p!!!... Nothing is closing in the UK end off.. Payoffs maybe but closures that's just nonsense. You lot really trying to instil fear factor when there is nothing to be fearful off.. If you get the heave ho it will be because you are expendable and probably c-ap at what you do. Winding people up before Christmas is just sad and pathetic!
Rumors are true. Galena Park in Houston is closing as well.
what are the rumors ???
