Transmissions Issues Long-standing Problem For Explorer

Getting more bad press on transmissions failing around 75k miles. Looks like too much cost cutting and/or lack of solid engineering for our SUV's. Expect greater incentives necessary to move 2020's.

The only thing corporations care about is reporting profits or growth every quarter. When are you going to learn this, they don't care about the product, customer and they definitely don't care about the employees.

The new 2020 Explorer has the worst in quality. I own 1 and I regret that I bought it.

"cost cutting and/or lack of solid engineering"

If it's either of the 2 causes listed above that is nothing new. Failing transmissions and cost cutting have been going on for decades regardless of who is engineering them.

I am not sure any potential customer would be confident Explorer is any more reliable with the 2020 model. Most wouldn't take the risk, at least until 2022 when reliability data is available.

Did you read the article?? It was “older” explorer as in over 10 years old, I don’t see how that relates to 2020 MY.
