Anyone have information about December 4th layoffs? Some have posted about mandatory department meetings on this day. It was posted here about the November 6th layoffs prior to the date and this was spot on. Can anyone please confirm the December 4th date as next round?

As we now know, the Dec 4th date was spot on! More were also let go today...”Culture” there means nothing! There’s no reciprocal loyalty whatsoever. Just an unceremonious scripted phone call and, boom!, you’re out! Happy Holidays!!
I work as a Facility-Based Care Advocate in the Western Region and was unceremoniously laid-off today, along with several of my teammates. I simply wanted to express both my empathy and sympathy to everyone affected by this. I’m so worried about my friends who got let go as well as the ones who will be stuck dealing with the outrageously high caseloads. Such a sad, upsetting day. Best wishes to all of you.
It is true. 24 years of service. Was told this morning that my position is being eliminated. I heard over 100 Optum employees got the letter.
I can confirm lay offs today. Got an email this AM of a mandatory meeting. About 40 other in the meeting. Was told our jobs were being eliminated. I’m with Optum behavioral solutions as a facility based care advocate in the Northeast, public sector. Most of my team was wiped out. The managers didn’t even know. Mine was Devastated. He thinks he will be next.
7 people from my department was let go today including our director.
I was at the 12/4/19 meet today for the FWAE department. So sad to hear, so stressful to have this over our heads, bad enough we have QA on our backs. They said they are done (as far as they know). Just waiting for them to continue to cut and lay more people off in Q1. Sorry to hear about the lay offs and just know when God closes one door, He opens many more. Once the Equian acquisition happened, I knew this was in the near future.

We just had a very cryptic meeting and we're only told that there were layoffs in our department but that downsizing was complete for us so the rest of us our safe, thank God. 2020 is the year to leave UHC.

I'm a WAH clinical reviewer. One layoff earlier Today (12/4) in our dept. ...that I am aware of. No mandatory meetings have come out yet. Fingers crossed.

Quality Department in Behavioral Health Services basically wiped out. Oh wait- American employees wiped out. OGS - no layoffs.

I was just laid off at 8am and I'm a supervisor in my department. Not sure about the severance package but was told I would receive information on it. I'm scheduled to get married on 1-4-20 and been with the company for 9 years. This showed me this company really doesn't care about their employees and looking forward to what God has in store for me 🙏
Mass layoffs today. They are doing it in mandatory meetings put out last minute. Managers aren’t even being told until right before hand that their staff are being let go.
Optum sales lay-off in TX
My boss was just laid off today. They called and said today is their last day and not to tell anyone. Pretty sh–ty since they are supposed to leave on a 2 week vacay to celebrate their wedding anniversary.
United can go F%@$ themselves. The upper leadership and HR are so corrupt it’s not even funny. You go and report anything and you get put on a blacklist. Then you get a lawyer and their lawyers payoff your lawyer to drop the case. It’s sickening that we still live in a world where this is still rampant.
Five Optum staff just got notice this morning in NJ

We have a mandatory on sight meeting here in Colorado on the 4th at 10am. It possibly could be a lay-off. We are all service navigators that WAH. I ll keep you posted.
