Hey TT let's not forget to thank all the sales people for "generating" new sales by opening new accounts just to close commissionable sales. Also let's thanks them for selling then products they domt seem to know anything about and expect the repair team to educate them. Let's also not forget the laziness of the turn up team while we're at it.
They actually called me out for low humidity. 35% is the threshold and we were at 33%. I tried to explain there was nothing I could do for that, so you want me to mop the floor to add some moisture to the room? Its 25 degrees outside, no sh– the humidity dropped lol. They demanded a dispatch, so I called in 2hrs later from my couch and put down the 4hrs of OT lol. Free money.......
Yeah, on-call is over. My manager doesn’t answer calls off, or even on hours. They even removed their number from escalation in telalert. I haven’t answered my off-hours calls in the past few months either.
All I want for xmas is a 12 week severance package like my co-workers
You guys need to relax. We have 3 more Wednesdays to go. There will be another layoff before Xmas. Let's hope you guys are lucky and get what you want. 3

Maybe the network will hold itself together then this weekend.
My areas oncall tech sent out an email to the team stating he will not be available all weekend and asked for someone to cover. No tech responded and manager turns his phone off on weekends. Morale is at an alltime low, nobody is gonna step up.
Hearing another significant layoff in early December. Sales are down and expenses are up......cost savings migrations have tapered off. Feels like they are throwing in the towel as the banks taking over are a forgone conclusion
I'm sure Mike will be logged in from his phone. Maybe even work a few tickets.
The real question is who do they have left to force to work holidays...gonna be 2 techs and 4 leads.. I can bet IR and SD wont be working.
I wouldn't be surprised if we had one more before the year was over.

Cruel has nothing in the TT/LL world.
They wouldn’t lay if the day before Thanksgiving. That would be cruel.
I haven't been laid off yet, but have my fingers crossed.
