If he truly “cherished” book knowledge he’d pay more than min wage in UK
If he truly “cherished” book knowledge he’d reach out to the full time career book knowledged employees fired by BN.and staff the stores with knowledgeable book employees, not min wage kids.
I do agree that it was the former management who wanted to get rid of the older workers, however this specific event happened under the new management. Very messy over the last few years firing older workers and it has finally caught up with them.
disagree completely....there is no indication that James Daunt wants to remove older employees if anything he has stated the intense need for book people....he has not had enough time to be accused of this maybe it was the old company that had an issue but sorry i don't buy it....Mr. Daunt cherishes book knowledge and should be given a better benefit of the doubt here....
