If you get laid off depending on what state you live in check out your states department of labor. In pa it’s called careerlink. I was able to get a cdl class a and they paid for the $4500 class since I was laid off. Some states have excellent benifits for displaced workers so check it out to see what options you have.

Trucks are expensive, fuel is expensive, trailers are expensive. Plus they have a handful of teachers the one I went to. Not to mention the amount of fuel each student burned from driving was about $1000 a piece. We drove from 7am to 530pm 4 days a week
$4500 for the class? That's insanity!
