Redundancies paid to DXC employees in Australia are determined by when you joined the company, be it EDS / HP / HPE / DXC. EDS is a maximum of 40 weeks for 13+ years of service, HP is a maximum of 43 weeks and so on. Long service leave is also paid out pro rata with more than 1 year of service at the time of redundancy occurring. If an employee resigns then the years of service (with a sizeable tax free portion) does not apply. Australian employees don't have their health insurance paid either.
All of the above is due to Australia's industrial relations laws which mandate specific benefits unlike the US and India where DXC employees are screwed to the hilt, and good luck with 401k as it sounds like a load of bollucks. Australian DXC employees have freedom choice in where their superannuation funds can be invested.
