Enhanced VTO offer across New Jersey this morning. They're understaffed as it is. Was told even if I want it after 40 years of service, the company can deny me under circumstances.

Yeah they told us in PA last year the old we may not let you go just because you put in and everyone that put in for it got it.
uh-huh they told us that too last year, and then turned around and let 3 of us go !!! leaving our old area with 6 company techs—When i started there were 40+ company techs in the area!! 4 central office techs.4 splicers, 2 bucket truck's for pole transfers etc.... NOW —6 company techs—ONE central office tech, 2 splicers, for the entire AO—!! Thats whats left of CTL in this lil section of the southeast !? lets hear your story? They are pushing very very hard this go around—layoffs may be imminent in many areas —the failure of Prism to carry the Brand to the next level has been the downfall of the company—
