Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Merit or bonus?

Sad that it’s come to where I feel like I should be lucky to even have a job...has anyone heard anything about merit or bonuses this year ?? Not that they were great before, but it was something.

I just heard that employees with a 3 will not get a raise this year and that the bonus is less than last year. Guess they need the money to pay the damages for all the lawsuits from denying people their mental health benefits. That and of course the top executives need their money.

The overall recommended grid is the same as last year for merits. It has not really changed at all in many years. The max any standard employee can get is 5% for a five star but only if your in the low zone of pay lol. Most will be looking at 0 to 2% as 5 star ratings are very rare. It also depends how many 2,3,4 ratings are allocated. They may be handing out more 3s this year.

Not sure on bonuses but I would expect less than you got last year by how much is the question.

In my portion of Optum360 we are usually notified by our supervisors of any raises and/or bonuses near the end of Jan.
