Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Call out

So, just curious. Our wonderful rating, has Lance been asked point blank why his approval rating is less than 10%? How do we get him on camera answering this question and his plan to improve company morale? I'm not delusional, as employees we do not matter to the crystal palace. How do we get someone to care? I'm not looking for trolls or hostility. How do we unify? I hate seeing the crews looking like beaten dogs and agreement only gets relief when they fmla.

Ask yourself....do you really think they care what anyone’s or what the company morale or rating is? These fat cats are about to make out with billions of dollars in the next couple of years. Come on people!

These people that waste their energy on HR and others at UP on how we could make things better are like people that keep going back to an abusive relationship. Let it go man. UP is what it is. I recommend you focus your time and efforts on betting yourself and finding a new job instead of trying to make Lance or whoever a more empathetic human being.

I say we break the unions. Doesn't make sense that I have a choice of three contractors that do the job better at half the price.

No one is going to ask that that matters. The media doesn’t care about someone’s approval rating or how many employees are cut off. He would just deflect the question or blame the cuts on down freight volume. Everyone needs to accept this is the new norm. It isn’t going to change. We need to either move on or stick it out. Complaining or cooking up little schemes isn’t going to do anything. (I’m an agreement employee btw)

He already answered that question.
And boy if people use fmla for rest just wait if they get caught!

Someone once asked Lance about moral in one of his town halls he had and his response was that is more for the local level to handle that it wasn’t really something he dealt with. So he passes the buck onto the other guy just as good as your local managers do. The only ones who ever “cared” about the employees left when this bunch took over and you’re probably not going to see another group care about the employees for a while. Thing is eventually mechanical won’t even get relief with fmla because they will start investigating it since pretty much everyone is being told to get it.
