How bout the PM leadership team that use to make excuses why they couldn’t manage orders. If Anjail could turn back time. I bet she’d work those orders now.
We can’t do this or that and we need all this documentation before we can do anything.

Project Managers At WIN just keep track of other peoples work. Low end admin basically. No technical knowledge or skill. That should be an entry level job so young kids out of school can get a feel for what different departments do. I worked with the Office Suite project manager and he didnt have a clue as to how to get things done. “I just know your dept handles it”
Project Managers? Is that the new name for an Analyst? These are just jobs for the a$$ kissers with no degrees that have intimate relationships with their bosses. Gotta keep them in a job. BUT please note, those jobs go first when the jobs start moving out.
I’ve had some good PMs but the good ones didn’t get along with Anjail.
I’m confused at how they try say we can’t do something after the customer signed a contract and every other department has agreed to the project.
They get all demanding as they go 30 min smoke breaks

Right.
Once they get a project to manage, they blast out a company email stating what the project is about, with a statement saying any department with a stake or task to attend the kick-off meeting at this date.
At the meeting, they tell you to add your tasks to their project plan. (Something to show their boss).
Followed by weeks of worthless meetings of them going line by line, through the plan asking if they can mark it complete.
In the meantime, never ask them for follow-up or intervention. They get PO that you want them to actually do something, berate you, and say, 'YOU need to follow-up. And when u find out, update my plan!'
There is no project management. And, they know this. Any project of value, is contracted.
I have never seen a PM at Windstream do more than sit on conference calls while they shop online.
