Management's motion for new KEIP and KERP plans for 2020

The incentive plans to keep key people from leaving run out at the end of 2019. Last Friday night (12/20), Windstream filed motions to establish similar plans for 2020.

Hey current employees, from the KERP docs, it says the average salaries are as follows:
EVP - $295K
SVP - $263K
VP - $196K
Snr Director / Sales VP - $165K
Director - $!31K
Sales - $81K
Staff Mgr - $104K
others/the rest - $59K
I am betting not everyone is aware of their worth, especially at this place. Follow the link, it is telling you what these peoples bonuses are at the end of this.

The ark 5 has $19 Million to split at the end of this if they meet their goals. $9.5M going to your fearless leader

Man if I knew I was getting laid off at the end of this, and have been with the company for years and wasnt apart of this jackpot/looting the of the creditors, I would be a wee but upset, and double so if I wasnt even earning the minimum $59K that is assumed to be average.

Bonuses to keep the very employees that are the issue........while the ones that were doing all the actual work resigned without seeing a raise in years.

Totally agree, I do not see many executives leaving the company and the CEO is under contract for several more years. Until half the excutives leave there is no need for either program.

I would cut their salary and see how many stay. I'd call it the SELL program. Sorry Executive lives lies. The reason they are around isn't because of Keip it's because they cannot find work comparable no one is banging down their doors or would even consider giving them a position close to where they are.

A few take away's here, Even if we get rid of you we still have to pay you out your Target Award Opportunity !

• Termination of Employment. If a participant’s employment is terminated by
the Debtors without “cause,” by the participant for good reason, or upon death
or disability, the participant will be entitled to: (i) payment of 100% of his or
her deferred bonuses

Sounds like there is already a new board in the wings. We already moved out the
court date for chapter 11 until mid year, they will defiantly get paid out in 2020.

Program Treatment Upon Emergence. Prior to emergence, the Debtors may
alter or terminate the 2020 KEIP, but not in a manner adverse to the participants
in a performance period that has already commenced. Post-emergence, the new
board may make changes to the 2020 KEIP, but not in a manner adverse to the
participants. The 2020 KEIP will remain in effect for the entirety of 2020,
regardless of whether the effective date of a chapter 11 plan of reorganization
occurs mid-year. If the Debtors have not emerged from bankruptcy before
December 31, 2020, the Debtors will develop and petition for a new KEIP for

Just so we are all clear:
$100M paid to layers and consultants when Ch. 11 is said and done
Millions paid out in bonus to Directors and above (KERP)
Millions more paid out in bonus to LR5 (KIRP)
Nothing paid out to retain key staff / individual contributors
