the idea would be to close all of NS and restructure the company as privately owned thus insuring its survival in the future. the path is clear that the money and assets must be milked prior to the delisting from the stock market. this is a 10year path and well on its way. the company will continue to shrink from the industry then emerging later as a transportation group for hire primarily leverage will be track rights and equipment and maintenance contracts. functioning like a holdings company
