200 locomotives being stored equalls to 100 mechanics being laid off. Unless they close another shop. Where will these layoff of employees be located? Any signs of shops eliminating?

600 more locomotives to store by 2020? When will the cutting start any ideas. If we make it past 2020 are we safe?
Well they got plenty of money to waste sending the big boy all over the country so it doesn’t seem like they’re too serious about the whole PSR thing.
They are being "stored" online in consists... and being utilized when other power in the consist fails enroute...which is often.
There has been 400 plus stored in the last few weeks. Learn to count!
It doesn’t necessarily mean machinists are being furloughed, it could be a combination of electricians, mso and machinists but let’s hope it’s top heavy management that gets their aaasss wiped this time

Now they are saying .8 employee per locomotive. So 200 would be 160 employees.
