Well...it's better than white/black w/ a logo that looks like a human skull! It actually looks like ML chin, look at a picture and once you see it you will see it each time you see the Black and white Logo
Purple means transformation, and creativity as a chakra symbol. It’s also a royal color. I don’t love it with the black and white, but certainly a nice color to symbolize hope.
The new logo looks really amateurish. Looks like something some kid would put together. And the relative size of the two components doesn't work. But new logos, pretty diagrams, and other cosmetic changes aren't going to fix this company or make it one. The real problems are much harder and more challenging – no one should be deceived by the tossing of some glitter.

Fixable but big management reorg and consolidated is required - getting rid of ineffectual and management duplication.
@5vpp, "Do you realise he just p-ss-d all over Mike Lawrie's fire by saying that and admitting the id–ts who thought it was a good logo, were just that, id–ts!!"
I thought he did that a week ago with the comment "DXC is fixable" https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/11/19/dxc/
Any CEO who just says on a whim that yeah i hate the old logo and go ahead and use the purple one is trying.

I like purple.
It is only for internal use and it is only temporary
If nothing else, I'd thank them endlessly for changing it all. The website is boring and ugly! I can't stand looking at it!
