Salaried Unlimited Vacation - Slap in the face for hourly workers

What a sad place SEA has turned into. Makes me sick how there can be such a huge difference in a key benefit between salaried and hourly works. Unreal. Senior management has no soul if they think this is okay.

I love being told by salaried leaders with a 6-figure incomes "how great" the hourly benefits are and "how lucky" we are to have such flexibility. Yeah, thank you SEA for screwing your committed staff out of 5 holidays in 2020, and cutting PTO days in 2021. And thank you for sending some lackey and then a letter to tell us how you're screwing us over because SEA leadership doesn't have the decency or courage to say it in person. Is this why SEA has once again eliminated all forms of communication to front line staff?

You’re gullible if you think salaried is going to be able to take anywhere close to the allotment of vacation they have now. These changes benefit nobody. Lots of salaried folks currently have 4-6 weeks of vacation as many have decades of time put in. They won’t be able to get anywhere close to that amount of time off, nor will they be able to sell it back.

The name of the game is division. The more we are all on separate pages the less likely we'll will take a stand.
We're just a small sampling of this country we live in. Bending over has now been ingrained into our lives.

Received that really heartfelt letter about how lucky we are to get f-cked over by this new posse of puppets while they get their exorbitant pay, "flexible" time off, and the bonuses they're awarded for our hard work. We just get sh– on.

The reason why companies offer "unlimited" vacation is so they don't have to accrue and pay out unused vacation. Most salaried workers don't use their full vacation allotment.

They’re claiming it’s not unlimited – – it’s “flexible”! And the reasoning is because “they work very hard and work many hours”.
Hmmmmm... REALLY? all of them??
