Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Leena Munjal and “Owning It”

It’s quite troubling that Leena munjal, who has done more harm to the health of this organization than any individual, save Eddie himself, continues to be recognized or endorsed for various awards by organizations that clearly do not do their homework and fail to look beyond a title. Why would “Constellation Research” include Leena in their Top 150 in Business transformation? This is troubling because this is the type of resume fodder that will allow someone like her to easily move on to a new high-level role and empowering her to blind others from the total destruction she has wrought on a once great empire since 2012. She should at least be held to the same microscope that the press has subjected eddie to less she be able to do the same to another company through her sheer incompetence and absence of leadership.

So Leena's current job is Board Member of St Judes.
I guess there is no Digital left to run with bonuses attached. I am surprised that new people would join Transform at the corp level but they do so maybe it doesn't harm you professionally.
There seems to be a bias toward hiring attractive Fs at Transform & SRG

I am steering (or better yet navigating), my automobile to my abode, sounds a lot fancier than I'm driving my car to my house. Deal with it.

Nothing antiquated about it at all. I use it, my kids use it, and I hear people of all age groups use it. I like that term. People should use different terms, all they want. And so what if the person who wrote it IS old? We're all (hopefully) going to get old 1 Day. Free country, we can write whatever terms we like. I actually like seeing people use alternate words that are less common, because it adds variety, and variety is the spice of life. My wife refers to our house as a "domicile" or "abode". Are they common, standard words? Nope, but that's what makes it more fun. Some people Say fast. I prefer "rapidly". Why? Because I'm a linguist.

I never said it wasn’t “perfectly valid”, what I said was it’s an antiquated term that makes the OP sound very old.

@9Nvzt+122LD0fS Absolutely nothing wrong with "save for". It means "except for", and is a perfectly valid term, in English.

I hate when people use the term “save for”. What are you, 100 y/o?

@6lvqh+122LD0fS That's how this world is operated. Don't blame her for what she capable of doing. Emulate and be prosper just like her.

She's the absolute worst, but there are quite a few former high-level employees bragging about their skills and initiatives at SHC. Initiatives that were destructive failures – usually punishing the store level employee.

Depressing is that these folks have gone on to similarly high level high paying positions. Many of them fail there, too, but they make $$$$ while failing yet again.

Leena looks at her bank account & laughs. She doesn't need an employee discount.

And she is still there. Collecting a nice salary plus bonus no doubt.

Can you list all of her initiatives? I know about the tablets for checkout. What else?

Someone please tell me again what retail experience Lens had prior to SHC? Zippo, just like the other never ending Presidents hired from the outside.

@1klh, I wondered about that. Paid advertising of sorts. Like the influencers that the kids follow on social media. Nothing is unbiased or without influence.

I think Eddie has financial ideas and some of those have worked for him personally. The retail he mostly left up to Leena and a few others but those others were let go or fled. Leena has been driving this train into the ground for awhile now and not only does she have terrible ideas, she enforces them through negative means. But that doesn't prevent her from taking her large bonuses. She ought to be ashamed of herself but yet she holds her head high.

Hahahaha, bought and paid for advertising with the help of former cronies. Seems shady since the “award” is from a company with connections to Sears and stands to profit from them

"Eddie listened to her atrocious ideas again and again"

Pretty sure Eddie had his own dark ideas and didn't need any help to ride the train to BK

You’re saying the press could be dishonest!!!
LOL
Obviously, she was ranked highly for other politically correct reasons, because results sure weren’t in play here

I was just considering whether to post on this subject when your post popped up. You stated it more articulately that I ever could. Thank you.

You are most correct. All the focus on the media has been in Eddie. We need a faced behind the Sears destruction piece. Lena is good there. Eddie listened to her atrocious ideas again and again. She is a devil who has destroyed lives.
