Worker’s Comp layoffs

Layoffs in Worker’s Comp department. Ten nurses given notice after told that there was a lot of new business coming and would have to pick up OT around the holidays. Some of nurses had been there over 10 years. What a c-appy thing to do at holidays.

Well don't apply to the aetna in woodland hills california location.
I was an account administrator there. Although my department was not particularly bad,
I heard abuse, criticism, complaints, harassment, favoritism, nepotism, rumors, etc. all over the place.
The people that were nice who I spoke with told me this.
The favoritism between friends was so apparent.
I viewed them helping each other in a very friendly manner but then with other, they treated them horribly. I heard this from my female coworkers from other departments that I spoke with.
I was there for a lot of years and just decided to leave because it seemed to get worse each and every day I was there. I think this toxicity would have eventually enveloped my own area there, so I decided to just leave the place.

Do you know what is happening with the provider data customer analyst department or the dental provider area. It is in the same exact facility that has aetna and anthem together in one place. This is in the los angeles county area. Sorry I don't want to be very specific. I am trying to find out for a few reasons and I also want to know if they have laid off anyone.
Also will there be layoffs in the future.
Please let me know if you are able to.
Thank you.

Layoffs in CWCS. Layoffs this time of year is particularly heartless. I can only hope that generous severance was given. No such thing as job security anymore.
