So if we haven't heard from our manager yet does that mean we are safe from the layoff?
Anyone know what type of positions were cut?

Actually it’s not at the same salary, CMM’s can become ASM but not at their current salary. I was offered to apply for the ASM position at the highest salary but even that would cut me 10K a year
It won’t be weekly, as the last poster says. The GVP made it clear that these RIFs could happen more often, but most likely around the usual times: November or March.
I heard it might be weekly as they decide if they’ve saved enough money
OPs Mgr wasn't given the option to become PT. Offered a MIT position, relocation or severance. From what I heard, February is the second round.
From what I have heard, yes–no more layoffs (for now). If a store has sales below $3.5 million, they lost their FT Ops/ASM Mgr to a PT position, if text sales for a store are below $1.5 million, they lose their FT CMM to a PT position. They have the option to stay on at their current salary (no benefits), or take the severance of 1 week per year worked–up to 8 weeks.
