Over 9 billion lost on the Max debacle and counting. 40 billion lost is stock value.
Billions more lost on the Boeing name, AKA Good Will. Boeing's name is now MUD.
The FAA is also, No Longer Credible, how much will that cost?
So we have to sell 1,000 Max units at $50,000,000 to gross 50,000,000,000
Now if we look at net profit to recover 50 billion based on a $20 million net
That's 2500 Max Sales
Apparently Boeing stepped over 25 Benjamin’s to pick up a Quarter.
The good news is that's 43.85 months worth of work based on a rate of 57 per month
I would say, Thank you Boeing board of directors.
But It's not over yet!!!

Boeing Co. shares added to losses Friday after Reuters reported that instant messages from 2016 suggest the company misled the Federal Aviation Administration regarding the 737 Max safety.
The FAA turned over the messages to U.S. lawmakers
and the Department of Transportation inspector general,
The FAA was fully involved in the hustle to push the Max to market
Now the finger pointing circus starts

23rd is the quarterly earnings report. Gonna be some numbers in the red i think.
I consider myself a pretty good counter, and I count -60 days- from Oct. 25 (FRI) to squeak in WARN notices prior to 12/24. I think people are waiting to see about bonuses; it is false logic to look at lay-offs that way. They will come as Boeing grapples with fixes they don't have, planes they can't sell, and a work force they can't afford to keep. Whether or not layoffs come out as anticipated (prior to 10/25) doesn't mean anything. A bonus in Jan. may mean a lot to YOU, but Boeing has bigger fish to fry. Watch for: whether "fixes" have been submitted... we're not even THERE, yet, and Boeing has been working on this since before the first all-fatal ocean-dive 737MAX. The MAX MAY never fly again. But, the magic date of 10/23 (or 10/25) or whatever doesn't matter. Layoffs will come when and if they are deemed necessary. There is no line in the sand.
