They laid off the best manager I ever had, true expert and an excellent leader, still can’t wrap my head around this and can’t imagine anyone replacing him easily. And fom what I’m reading here, they did the same all around the company, laying off competent people. Truly a sad day. This company is going down the drain.

They are laying off older workers who have pensions and a high salary. GAC was sued in a class action lawsuit for this in a round of layoffs in the late 90's early 2000's
Gulfstream's popularity contests will make sure the useless people stay; a lot of people who know what theyre doing either left or will leave soon. Might be a final nail for GA. I feel like its way too toxic of a workplace here in RDC to recover.
Standard operating procedure per Bob and Bob.
I my area kept the thieves, OT riders, 2 hour lunch breakers, corrupt management that “Management Resources Business Partners” keeps covering up harassment complaints, and released hardworking, knowledgeable, talented people! It is disgusting and they should be ashamed!
Guess it will be another year before GAC gets that coveted “Great Places to Work” title.
It seems people who don’t know how to fix or build a jet are the ones in charge. I shoulda stayed in the Army.
Agreed. The persons I hoped would go are still around of course and the persons I felt served a purpose were walked out. Traumatized. I feel NO better about the rest of the week.
Yes, dead weight is still there. They got rid of efficient Managers.... who actually get the work done. I know Cert Manager is one of them. Very sad.
It was mostly a sweep of deadweight that was low hanging fruit in my area. The real deadweight is still there. Too close to the VP to fall and that is our real problems
They got rid of people that were getting paid way too much money for the work they were doing.
Which dept
Yes, yes they are.
Sorry for the typos, too upset.
