Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Any expected WFR’s?

We made it past 2Q end but just wondering if anyone has heard if US should be expecting WFRs in immediate future (involving BPO centers). Just curious. I have the last of my belongings together to grab n go.

WFR is happening by the end of this month in BPO for insurance. Don’t know the total. A couple weeks ago, a senior manager was going around telling people their work was headed offshore so they should find new jobs.

"The Inside Man" again... Have you seen the other threads about this?
Was I right or wrong "@11wnFwmw-1gfx"?

Maybe you'll learn something, maybe not but more redundancies are coming!

Getting rid of useless, bone ideal and bullying low - mid managers will be a good way to get rid of dross in the company and could be a start of gradual turn around for this company. Hand the responsibility directly to people on the ground who know the work, the client and who work their socks off not only for DXC but its client/s.

"The Inside Man" again... In about 3 weeks it begins. We'll know soon enough. The point is DXC has not reached its planned targets. Mid to low level manager positions are being scrutinised now . For instance State Managers that had junior managers will not have them anymore. More responsibility will be passed down to the team lead or site lead level. Project managers will also be "looked at". There are lots of mid level managers sitting around doing next to nothing. Non of them are safe. And if you have a company provided? Guess what happens to that! They're even looking at cutting all mobile phones. If you need a phone to do your job you'll have to go out and get your own.

Again, you heard it here first.

Is there any truth in a rumor that the AT&T alignment has gone to cr@p? I am hearing that a number of DXC networking personnel that were moved to AT&T are being WFR'd cos the AT&T organisation is incapable of managing its workforce.

There are WFRs coming up in Western Europe. We had a couple of country management meetings where Europe's executives said that our numbers s—ed and people will be laid off in Q3. Some might, and I say might, be laid off before the end of the year. In some other countries by Januari, because of some labor laws.

Seems more of the same getting rid of hard working grunts who have invaluable expertise and knowledge of DXC and its clients - can't replace this knowledge easy when people leave.

November is going to be hectic. The inside word is another 8,000 people globally before Xmas and most of those in the US (6,500). 2020 will start off slow but more people will be "shaved" February and March. No numbers yet but they've got a figure in mind. More soon.
You heard it here first!
