Senior-level admins tell me that our non-technical CEO is "in over his head" and "overwhelmed".
Has anyone else heard this?

Don’t forget they couldn’t find a technical capable guy who would be stupid enough to take the job. Remember lots of big swing d—s in tech all want to be CEO yet after long search nobody appeared and had to take the internal beancounter.
BS stand him up against the CEO of TSMC, Samsung, Nvidia, AMD and don’t be surprise Intel will be where IBM is now
BS should do what he does best - get us back healthy financial shape. He should trim the fat, shut down underperforming and pet projects, thin out management, VPs and and all of IoTG.
Your CFO carries a clamshell phone.
@1afn LOLOL tell that to CEOs of AMD and Nvidia and they'll laugh at your face just like I am now
Meanwhile the cost center parts of the business are totally ignored and begin to decay.
maybe he is paying too much attention to Murthy's dramatics
If Murthy is still around, that means ceo isnt paying attention and is overwhelmed
Any argument that includes “it’s $CURRENT_YEAR” is basically showing total ignorance of human behavior.
But when it comes to the most important calls, an accountant doesn't know what to do. I was stunned when they put an accountant as CEO. He is overwhelmed and out of his depth.
The company has benefited from his non technical background. He is enabling the leadership team to step up, work together to fix the significant issues the company needs to tackle.
BK and most of the other previous CEOs were in over their heads. Considering the condition of Intel after the catastrophic 2016 "layoff" why would anyone be surprised that BS is struggling?
What would surprise me is if the word was that he was underwhelmed. CEO isn't a piece of cake job.
Bozos (Powerpoint warriors) are in full force!
1afn, there's a significant difference between BS and the CEOs of MSFT, AMD, AMZN, Apple, and so on.
Hey! At least Bob isn't like Creepy Krzanich!
Yes, I am sure a technical guy would love it if a non-technical guy were in over his head in an upper management position. Because many technical guys still think that technical people are the best managers for a tech company. It's the year 2019 though. Management is no longer about telling people what they have to do at a detailed level. And people have realized that promoting the best technical guy to a management position is completely id–tic. But some people are still stuck in the year 1989.
