I know that don't cutting is the most obvious answer to this question, but cost cutting has its limits before the company becomes nonfunctional. What do you think, does the leadership have any sort of plan how far are they going to take the layoffs, and what numbers they’re trying to achieve? Got to admit, for me it looks like there’s no plan whatsoever and that they’re laying of at will.

Yes, manufacturing is hiring. Other areas, those in RIF threat, are not.
They are hiring right now. The the next couple weeks they'll be doing new employee orientation.
They have no clue what they doing... Amateurs.
We'll be hiring again by March at the latest.
