Any ‘leadership team’ (LT) that can’t manage cashflow or forecast accurately should be fired.
Any LT that can’t manage or lead their employees by example should be fired.
Any LT that can’t understand their market or articulate their proposition concisely....I assume that you get the picture.
If the business needs to cut costs and adjust its GTM, then the surgical adjustments should be at the LT level, assuming that investors will ultimately expect a return.
Could be that there are some better bets who
Know the business inside out and genuinely understand what needs to be done....
