Very good anal-ogy. Good luck everyone, this is the week we’ve been waiting based on actual announcement. And if you’re laid off, yes it s—s and it may put you out of your comfort zone but you might be better off at the end since this company is such a f- fest. Best to all.
One ply is actually reliable when you fold it... However that's a good analogy, because only a cheap du* buy it not realizing they have to use twice as much. Kinda reminds me of this RIF because we're cutting costs now just to have to spend even more in the future to actually be able to function as a company and produce a reliable, high quality product. So, we're going to RIF hundreds or more only to have to go on a hiring spree next spring and take whatever warm bodies there are looking for a job. Meanwhile, the high quality hires are avoiding us like the plague since they don't want to move to Savannah, buy a house just to have to uproot everything again in a couple years when the next knee jerk reaction happens to temporarily boost the stock price at the expense of the company's future. Everyone who can, should do themselves a favor and move to a city that has more than one employment option in your chosen career.
