So - Three potential answers in my head.
- Occam's razor - They are clueless mo–ns running the show that's how we got here to begin with. They have no plan,and there is zero logic applied.
- The WARN ACT does apply, it gets them to next Monday so they can fire us all without severance Thursday. They lied when they made the announcement that they would follow corp policy and give us severance.
- They actually read the survey, listened to what we said, listened to good leaders in the org like Colin, and are therefore laying off some directors and other people who poison Gulfstream with their trash talking improvements and insisting we stick to the good ol' boy system. We all know those folks. Information flow comes through that channel so you can't tell Director X yeah here is the plan, we redacted the part with your name on it. So they wait till Thursday and walk out long time directors and managers in core engineering, etc.
Let's hope it's three. I am not sure who is running the show, so not sure which of the above applies. It's sadly probably #1.
