Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

Thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been and will be effected. Could be me or another one of our teammates.
Congrats (I think?) to those who survive.
Not easy but it is the Gulfstream way. Look at the past.
It’s 4Q and financials are due. Bonuses are counting on cost cutting
Senior leadership knows they dropped the ball. Afraid to be transparent. Sort of like our elected officials, do not have to live the chaos they’ve created.
Hope all commented appropriately on the survey.
And, poor junior leadership left behind that have to try and keep things going...and motivate.
Not mad, just frustrated and quite frankly embarrassed.
As someone mentioned earlier, I can’t find one instance of a larger corporation which has actually benefited from a RIF. Layoffs may be a different story...go do the research.
Also, compare other known severance packages with what GAC offers...again, quite embarrassing.
Anyway, may the force be with us all.
