That’s what we can expect from now on at this company. I worked at a few companies before Gulfstream and what I can say is when layoffs start in an organized manner they tend to continue for a long, long time. It’s just a constant urge to cut costs, which is like a sickness to the company. This is a place where job security will not be seen for a long time, if ever.

Layoffs have already been continuing for a long time: 2002, big one in 2009, and another smaller 2015/2016. RIFs are maybe becoming more frequent but are far from a new thing around there.
