Pleae get this RIF done today. Poor employees have been held hostage for 3rd week. This is no way to treat humans
The company is not thinking about employees stress.

Agree. Our dept. Has had 2 employees LITERALLY "lose it" over the course of the last 2 weeks.
Stress is relative to your position. If you're an exec, your brand of "stress" is a bit different, than if you're a mechanic. I find it amusing that you'd expect empathy from those whose role is to appease the shareholders. Not saying that you're wrong - just that maybe you don't understand human nature very well.
