Yesterday we know a few layoffs took place here and there, but from I understand from various rumors and comments I heard at the office, today we'll see the bulk of it. I might be wrong, so if somebody knows more please share.
And do we have any idea when this entire thing will finally be over?

HR also has RDC4 conference room reserved for Oct 15...just saying
This Friday will be the next batch of layoffs. Co-worker has neighbor who works for Sherriff dept. They have been asked to come onsite on Friday.
The lay-off will not be today. You will be told in advance.
I heard some people talking yesterday that HR had the conference room booked today in RDC4. When they heard ppl were talking about it, they cancelled the reservation.
This seems very shady to me and probably means that something IS going to happen. Why would they just cancel instead of giving the reason why it was reserved?
I doubt it. Last time they gave us a heads up of a few days. Told us what to expect. Asked us to stay in our seats until an email came out saying it was over. The HR lay-off was well in advance of the main one too.
