I have an offer from both (application support) - who would you chose?

The only good thing about my job is that I'm based from home. I can sit around all day doing my work, listening to podcasts or music, waiting in for Amazon deliveries, and going out for a run in the morning. But it's really really boring when you don't see anyone at all. In 2 years I have met my line manager twice, and that's more than many of my peers.
Acccenture = "A– Enter"
DXC = "Don't Xpect Compensation"
I'd take the Accenture role but don't plan to stay for more than a couple of years as Accenture will burn you out but it will look better than DXC on your CV.
People have heard of Accenture and have a reasonably high image so you won't need to explain who they are to your next employer. As soon as you say DXC are really CSC you might as well dismiss yourself from the interview.
Get a job in McDonalds. Appreciated more.
Read this site. Read GlassDoor. Take the DXC offer, print it out and set fire to it. Then print out another copy. Feed that through the shredder. Take the shredded offer and line the cat tray with it. Drink several tall glasses of water and print out a third copy. Take it outside somewhere nice and private, lay it on the ground, and relieve yourself on it. Print out a fourth copy and tear it into tiny shreds. Flush the shreds down the toilet. Print out a fifth copy and stick it to a wall. Grab some darts. Reward yourself each time a dart hits the center of the X in DXC.
Next, print out the Accenture offer. Sign it, scan it and send it back to Accenture.
I would say Accenture. It is huge and doing far better than DXC at growing and being able to offer opportunities than DXC. DXC is fairly immature and has tried to transform from the parents of two ailing companies that had been driven into the ground by poor leadership and bad acquisitions which hasn’t worked.
You will find far more placements and assignments with Accenture, it will have its politics, like any firm, but it is had benefited from stronger leadership a better and more diverse talent pool and lots of innovative and diverse offerings.
DXC is in the worst dying position it could be in right now and has a long road ahead just to keep afloat. It will only serve to ruin your chances and stifle your growth as it won’t invest invest in you. I seriously would not advise anyone to join DXC in the state it is currently,in.
should always think what will look good on your CV - and answer is easy here, its Accenture. Most people still don't know who or what DXC is, and those that do largely have a negative opinion of them so it will not help your longer term career
Do not work for DXC! I work here and hate it, don't do it!
Don't take any role from DXC but read the horror stories on web sites like this, glassdoor, UK register, etc to find out why.... one clue endless WFR and endless WFR since its formation losing valuable talent and expertise through the door
If I knew then what I know now, I would have taken the job offer I got to flip burgers at McDonalds as opposed to the offer I accepted to work at DXC
