Stock prices for General Dynamics have dropped from 186 to 172 in the past week. If layoffs were to hold prices for shareholders, all this had done is cause uncertainty in the company. Employees often are the shareholders and now are suffering twice. Phoebe with GD has got to go. She certainly isn’t earning her 1.5 million dollar paycheck.

The entire market, and especially defense, is down since then. A few hundred people isnt going to move the price, especially since it's old news at this point.
