For those of us directs being laid off this month. Can anyone who has got the severance fill in some details.
Will our YMCA membership be good until the end of the month or does it cutoff that day, week, etc?
Do our benefits remain normal till the end of the month, or again are they done the second you're unemployed provided you don't do COBRA?
Any other details you can provide on severance. Is it a lump sum?

Severance package is taxed as if it was paid out weekly, but you get a lump sum.
If the L drive gets deleted "instant" when I leave, why should I clean it up? Also, that's not true.
Everything is shutdown at time of firing. We get the COBRA and the severage package per RIF policy. Ugh... This s—s. I hope everyone is ok. It s—s, people in our department started to pack just in case. It feels so wrong. WTF is going on...... One thing, clean your L Drive if you have stuff on it. It get instantly deleted as you leave.
