We know layoffs are happening in October, but the earliest date I saw mention as a (possible) start is October 10. Plenty of other dates mentioned as well - I'm not saying that's the starting date for sure - but all of them were after.
Does this mean I can relax for at least this week?
VPs stated “mid to late October”. Contractors were fired on schedule. Directs are the next to go. Lay-off lists were all submitted last week so I doubt there will be any changes allowed so no reason to sweat. You’re either on the list or not. Maybe they can treat their direct employees with a little mor dignity. Maybe not.
