Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

Severance package

Do we know what we can expect? Will there be any reductions? I'm worried they might want to save more money by cutting severance and I wouldn't put it past them to hit us when we are down. This is Gulfstream we are talking about here, after all.

Hopefully, I'm just being paranoid.

CP-6-13 shows weeks of severance pay and weeks of cobra you can by. Over 20 years of service the severance jumps to 30 weeks pay and 7 months of cobra. Pretty sure there’s no way the company could bypass corporate pollicy

There are way too many directors, managers and group heads in engineering
Group heads sit all day foing nothing
Managers make up excel spread sheets with falsified numbers to show that the group is "excelling" excuse the pun.
Hope the new VP can wake up and smell the coffee and cut the waste.

Do a search on the intranet for severance. First document is the package for time served and Cobra eligibility.

There is a corporate policy that outlines what to expect severance wise on the intranet. If they follow it is a different story
