Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

Anyone know what the exact RIF date is?

If I remember, 2015 RIF was on a THURSDAY. Contractors were let go today, THURSDAY. Safe to assume the RIF will be on a THURSDAY in mid to late Oct. Anyone know the exact day?

It's ironic that an employee is on the internet ripping his employer while volunteering info violating their NDA.

The RIF refers to the policy for direct employees. They technically can’t mass layoff directs before shutting down indirect (contracts) first. Its some kind of ratio direct/indirect. Once reached, then you can RIF directs. I like how the leadership team just stays quiet in the meantime. Moral is below sea level and they expect us to push through FLC first flight. Wtf is wrong with this team.

Is RIF different than the contractors getting let go today and tomorrow?

Thursday was the end of the week in 2015, when we still did 4x10

You must be an insider to know that level of info.
