Thread regarding Gulfstream Aerospace layoffs

HR can not be trusted

I left Gulfstream in July after 7 years. The company has a bad culture with micromanaging and favoritism and the good ole boy system. The managers get away with murder and HR does nothing about it no matter how much you call ethics. I personally dealt with this and HR can not be trusted. They plot to find ways to get rid of you if you go against them. This company is crooked and evil and they are not to be trusted. Gulfstream is a name and that’s it. They deserve to shut down or fire All management and HR there. Ethics should be called and they should be reported to the news media!

The comments above smells MEDIOCRACY.
It makes total sense when the folks retaliating against competent hardworking employees to keep their pay check know they can't get another equivalent job anywhere else.

FYI, “management” doesn’t love HR either and the feeling is mutual I think. There’s so many things wrong here, it’s almost impossible to start a rational discussion.

Unfortunately I have witnessed similar retaliation against whistleblowers. These leaders and managers who lack integrity will do ANYTHING to preserve their paychecks. Don’t seek solutions from HR, you will be sadly disappointed and most likely have a target on your back. Still employed with Gulfstream but actively looking for employment with a company that truly values my skills and dedication to ACQUISITION CONTRIBUTION and RETENTION.

HR cares about employees, like a lawyer cares about right and wrong. They have no conscience, they don’t practice all the feel good stuff they publish. They exist to protect management and legal exposure.
