Currently working (remote) at Carbonite. We've just been acquired by OpenText. What's ahead? Worth staying with OT or start looking for new opportunities?

Sad to see that Carbonite was acquired by OpenText. Having worked there the blame should go to the QA Team especially Doyle and Michael Onessimo. They took on a project that they were not prepared at all. They released the software with over 1000 bugs. The CEO announced his departure and the rest was history. What's worse is these two mo–ns are there, people who worked their buts off were let go.
Jump ship NOW! I was an acquisition myself and thought I was safe by keeping my head down, working hard and making zero complaints. 3 years later they came for me and my meager salary. It might not happen right away like it did for my friends, but it is inevitable. Start looking for jobs! The time I stayed at OT so I could be loyal was not great. I Wallis have been better off working elsewhere.

See there plans here.
It might not be immediate but I would recommend searching for new opportunities while your wait for your RSU's to vest. You won't have anyone directly tell you your job is on the chopping block though read the countless Glassdoor reviews of how all the other Open Text acquisitions went. There will be redundancies across the organization and a restructure will be inevitable and quicker for some teams ie HR, Marketing, IT, etc than in others. Think about the people who were aware of the buyout plan and direction of the company how quickly they have since left (General Counsel, CMO, etc)
I also work at Carbonate, and was considering posting the same question. Working in a finance role myself
