So this has irked me for some time now. I saw on MyLife about holidays, and it mentioned how getting time off on holidays is good for your well being and your overall health. It states that it’s good to have time off to be with your family, and to be able to rest and recharge. And that CVS understands the importance of these things in overall colleague health and wellbeing.
So then it lists those entities of the company that qualify for reduced holiday schedules, and basically has almost every entity EXCEPT the stores!! Give me a break! If corporate really feels time off around the holidays is good for colleagues health and wellness, then why are the stores not included?
I’d like a DL to comment on why apparently store level colleagues health and well-being don’t matter? Give everyone else some time off but screw anyone who works in a store? And people wonder why employee morale is so low.
