7iqx - yes, I have heard the same thing. Moobs getting CTO spot despite coming on board being told if he delivers then he would get the promo. Apparently, despite not delivering ANYTHING and not fixing ANYTHING they are going to go ahead and bump him up. Apparently elevator speeches and buzzwords are enough to get put in charge with this company now. Same for getting promoted, people who cant get anything done and are a main reason we are where we are can demand things and get them while really good people leave, get laid off or get marginalized. The failure list grows, Lum*** gets "released on 12/3...does not do anything and cant get most products to work with it. Buoy is a disaster, haven't released anything in over a year, Storm...pretty much still an idea.
Also, anyone who s—s up to him, talks a good game as he does and doesn't deliver or do anything are getting promos as well. Pretty sad place to work but I have to say the implosion and display of incompetence is kind of entertaining.
Now that the board meeting is done I would say the fun begins as they rush to save money before year end and cut for next year as well.
All I can say is get on board and sign up for those class action lawsuits. When you file make sure you tell them about the harassing and discriminatory environment. Maybe you can get a few bucks before they close this place down.
