Well jenks according to those in the glass palace is a “necessary evil” (in other words they realize they toss it and they’ll never get their locomotives overhauled in any respectable time period from contractors like that really makes a difference at this point) the only shop on the system able to rebuild anything they own but this group of intellectually deficient and morally compromised individuals won’t look past the dime on the floor to the dollar behind it. At this point every shop is expendable even those that are truly needed long term, guessing dumping millions into the new tier 4 parking lot program is better then rebuilding their current somewhat reliable fleet. The people left to pick up what’s left after this group of incompetent “managers”, “senior managers”, and “executives” are going to have their work cut out for them if the company survives there will be a massive cluster to rebuild, jenks being one of those. Gotta hand it to those who do end up cut loose and coming back that’s a special kind of masochistic sense of loyalty to a company that states there is no such thing as accidents. Keep your head on a swivel folks the lights are dimming the show is just about to begin grab your beverage of choice (I suggest a good whiskey), a snack, and a comfortable seat if you make it threw the cuts into the long haul rebuilding process.
