Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Time to tighten payroll again!! The new big cheese is going to manage it himself!! Ha!!

Received word that our new AVP ole D–k is going to manage payroll personally. HES THE NEW BIG CHEESE IN THE EAST. He is going to check it every day. Anyone over is gonna be in lots of trouble. Lol. Sounds like a Cartoon. Im gonna get that wabbit !! Im gonna get him if he goes over on them ole payroll hours. Company needs that extra 30 minutes to pay for health hub so we can make another billion this year. If they fall over in the aisles just be sure to get them up before you open then we will send another tin soldier to take their place. WHATEVER DUDE!! CHECK IT EVERY MINUTE. NO ONE CARES AT THIS POINT. STORES ARE TRASHED. OUR MORALE IS TRASHED. CVS DOESNT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING BUT MONEY!! we are all just robots. We are tired and beat down. Go ahead fire all of us. Good luck finding better in this world. New generation could care less.

Got a phone call from my DL today in good old Division 3. The exact words were I will be emailing you a counseling form for your hours being over demand. Please sign and fax back to me. I don’t know where they got these numbers but I might have been over 2 or 3 hours. I said I would review and send it back. What the good old DL and good old D–k don’t know is that they are providing me the smoking gun. Before the call, I had just received a follow up call from the inspector for the Board of Pharmacy. They said once i was issued any performance counseling on payroll that it would be inspected immediately. The inspectors exact words were that he was tired of someone’s bonus effecting safety and if CVS wanted to practice in his state they needed to be more responsible.

Love this new AVP guy. DL is in my store today. We are pages in the Red. I am hearing flu shot, payroll, and cash register prompts. At 12 they drop and run to the back of the pharmacy and take a very important call from good old D**k. You guys need to push hard on flu. We have to beat this other area. If you push hard and win, I am taking the best region of DLs to Ruth Chris. WTF! Let’s cut payroll by $10 but this guy is buying steaks for everyone. Get a grip! Done. Sending to the board of directors. Nothing will be done but this is the stuff that newspapers love.

Ask Larry what his hours budget was managing #1337 in DC. Clue $75 SPMH. He never forgot how easy it is.

I agree with original poster. CVS once was a very good place to work. Gone are the days where you feel appreciated for hard work and dedication.

Not likely to find better (IF you actually do and/or did take pride in your work and do your job and perform your best). Everyone b–ching isn’t a lazy mo–n. People who perpetuate the idea that a work force should emulate the standards of third world countries is the exact mentality that brought not only this company, but the entire country to it’s knees. Wake up. You’re working to barely get by and k–l yourself in the process. Get more meds to fix all that right???
