From recent news there are two potential paths for Molina - to prepare for sale if there are buyers or to invest in generating more revenue. A static business model has inherent risks of declining revenue from contract rebidding or patient erosion. The expense lines can be reduced only so much and then these measures impact performance, employee attitudes and quality. As a former CFO, the current CEO appears to have been leveraging his knowledge base of working the balance sheet and P & L. Thoughts on future?
