It would seem from his background that preparation for divesting with an eye for a higher multiple would be the be strategy at this point. The Board is certainly looking at options which sale is certainly one scenario. The question is one of buyers.

Yes they looked at carving out certain sections last year and into this year but decided not to for now. I believe they will in the future. DXC will exist in some state but as a much smaller company. Most of the people that kept the company together did so to justify their large payout from the merger. Most have now left with their huge payouts so I would think new management would start looking at logical solutions to making the company sustainable. But again logical decisions and DXC management don’t exactly go together.
Waiting for Huawei to put in a bid for DXC, and being rejected by the spooks. It couldn't be any worse than the Indian outsourcers.
It will happen, just not quite yet. DXC will eventually be bought by one the large Indian outsourcing companies.
Why would anyone buy DXC? Just wait till we go under and pick up the spoils for dirt cheap
