Where yall at whistleblowers?!? No one no more about the company then the workers from within. How can a company sacrifice so much safety issues and horrible repair by deferment for profit that they continually break every qt? So surprised someone not keeping record of death, furloughed leaving small city economy to rot, fra detect etc to their politicians..

So...my thread offering a tepid inquisition about why UP is resorting to suing newly hired managers to recoup relocation funds if they quit less than a year after being hired gets taken down, but the string of comments below this one is still up.

Also interesting: threads with substantive discussion keep being raided by trolls, whose comments often cause the threads to be taken down.
UP doesn't want any help from anyone! They are not interested in any new business, you can't do one man crews with more new business. God forbid you would have to make a pickup or do a set out enroute!
It’s funny how Rob Knight says we need a lil help from the economy for u.p volumes to be back up. 1st of all they losing customers to trucking and 2nd shutting down small shops that smaller city relies on will affect the economy there. 3rd furloughing so many workers for nothing is adding on to other greedy corporations that streamlining that also let go of their worker doesn’t help!! Use common sense!! Middle class is the economy and they are the one screwing it up and they got the nerve to say “a lil help with the economy sure will help us”. Bunch of out of touch pricks!!
