Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

Someone posted awhile ago about osha issues, and there is some truth to that. The article is recent, and quite eye opening! Anyone in this same situation? And in true corporate fashion, Target denies everything, what a shock! But people getting hurt? People reduced to tears? One person in charge of 32 aisles by themself? Unreasonable workloads? WHEN IS THIS GOING TO STOP?? I get it, everyone is trying to avoid becoming the next Sears. BUT in the race to avoid being the next Sears, you might wanna avoid shooting yourself in the foot, because it’ll only help speed up the process to becoming the next Sears.

the problem with lawsuits is target has lawyers behind lawyers. a lawsuit may even take several years to go to court at a big expense to plantiffs.target knows this so they will just delay as long as possible.

i had to laugh when they made up all those certificates 7 or 8 years ago for people with no safety issues and displayed them in the breakroom they didn't even tell anyone what a joke if i do something good let me know but they didn't put it on display as a cover-up truth is most people have accidents in the workplace and don't report them because there is no union and they are afraid of getting in trouble when it's the company that put's employees in harms way and doesn't care because they know there's no union to hold them accountable and that's the truth

ok this is how it goes osha inspects store a they fail and alert all other stores in the area osha is on the prowl they get tm's to jump thru hoops to create the illusion of a safe work environment and pass meanwhile store a gets a warning and threatings tm's with termination until they pass the next inspection sound about right if osha really wants a true picture of store safety they need to look at stores at the same time so they can't warn each other
