We have mandatory overtime in CCR...I guess that's good.

To be competitive, automation is now the culture of the company to save cost. From everything I heard, we have jobs until they create an efficient enough platform for audits, then we gone. Lol. They didn't specifically mention QuEST. Quest town hall meeting of what's going on and the "automation" Future. Pssh.

My site is about to have their town hall meeting. There’s snacks and a big overhead projector.

I think everyone just got punked by the site. Imagine how many sleepless nights were spent because of a couple of unreliable posts? Sad.

There is life after UHG! Restructuring is an annual thing for UHG and we all know it. UHG is the best in the industry that is very competitive. Their credentials on a resume are a badges of honor that count. It is, however, very hard to be downsized. Lots of emotions come into play: surprise, anger, depression. I'm still not over my downsizing of the past, but there is life after UHG. Let's face it. Medicaid was a nice way to enhance profits via virgin business, but now they're stuck with low margin dogs that are dependent on state budgets. Medicare Advantage still has a lot of potential, but the ever pressing CMS rules around quality means that all of the carriers need to back up their programs with results. I think the wave of the future is for Optum to take over clinical, quality and medical leaving UHC to be the backroom platform and financial services arm. That way, the gov't can outsource health care for all , but if they want the bells and whistles...they need to contract with Optum.

Hey, can’t you tell us where you work, “Team Meeting”. That would be helpful. Thx.

Same in Clinical Services program I work in. Little work, too quiet, very ominous vibe, but no action today.

Nothing today in M&R Prior Auth. Except the vibe and very little work. Ominous. I had some emails kick back to directors and sups, which was strange. Will update more tomorrow. Reps still working overtime and no work??? Craziness.

You do good work at UHG RD. Maybe he's calming the team and announcing you are absorbing other talent.

Never heard of a Town Hall not having a dial-in.

I am with UHGR&D and we have a Town Hall tomorrow (TUESDAY) morning with the speaker being CEO Ken Ehart. Must attend in person, no dial-in :(

Optum announced last week (via Santelli Re-org email) that Optum R&D will be transitioning to the business. A little worried UHG is following suit?
